What does $348 get you these days? A small vacuum cleaner? A relatively cheap suit? How about a phone offering two days worth of battery life and a fingerprint lock? These are all true, but the only one we care about is the latter in Oppo's F1s.
It might surprise you to still find button-based dumbphones out in the world still, or even a few not-quite-smart "feature-phones", but the gap is beginning to close, and that's partly because of price.
It's great if you can afford the best in class, top tier smartphone, but not everyone can. Fortunately, a few manufacturers believes smartphones shouldn't be a top dollar affair, and in Oppo's F1s, the price is low while keeping the specs relatively high, at least in comparison.
