Well that was a weird year. With the world seemingly plunged into some strange reality where everything had to be put on hold thanks to a new medical condition, we’re sure many of you will be happy to put 2020 behind you.
Good news then: it’s 2021 today, and hopefully the coming weeks and months of the new year will be better.
In the technology world, 2020 wasn’t quite as bad, arriving with some pretty impressive technology, much of which we’ve rated in our Best Picks for the year, covering the best phones and the best tech of 2020.
Here at Pickr, we made 2020 a big year, writing around 780 stories, and recording 57 episodes of the award-winning five minute weekly podcast, The Wrap, several of which were produced at CES in Las Vegas in the early hours when we’d had little sleep. Fun fun.
We’ve also answered more of your questions thanks to the inclusion of a chat window, which pops up after sitting on a page for a few seconds, and can put you in touch with a technology journalist to help answer your questions, because everyone needs a tech journo on speed dial to ask questions to.
