Stan takes movies, TV shows on the go with offline mode

This week, Stan has a new feature, and if you’re a subscriber, it’s one you can make use of pretty much anywhere.

Netflix has it, Amazon Prime has it, and now Stan has it, because as of this week, you can take your binge viewing of Louis Theroux and Ray Donovan with you.

We’re not talking about TV shows, though they all obviously have that. Rather, it’s offline viewing, because that is now rolling out across Stan accounts as part of the package.

To make use of this feature, you’ll need to make sure you have an iOS (iPhone, iPad) or Android device, smartphone or tablet, and obviously some storage available, because movies and TV shows are not small, and then you merely have to take a wander on the Stan service.

It should affect everything on the network, from movies to television to all that goodness your kids want to watch and you probably don’t. Hey, that even seems like a good way to keep your kids happy on the next car trip, or anywhere else for that matter.
