Owners of an eBook reader might want to check when they bought it, because Amazon has news: it’s stopping support for a whole bunch of its eReaders in the next month.
Kindle models made before 2013 look set to lose access for buying new books, downloading previously purchased titles to a library, and if the units are reset, they’ll even likely have troubles connecting back to the Amazon world.
The solution is clear: get a new Kindle. But is that the only fix, and is there something else going on?
