AI can be used for lots of things, but if you’re using AI to write for you, there may soon be a way for everyone to work it out, and we’re not just talking about the use of different types of punctuation. Anthropic’s new watermarking system will be found inside text, and could potentially expose users who use AI for academic or work purposes.
This week on ABC Sydney Drive, we’ll dive into how the watermarking system will work for text, and what makes it different compared to the watermarking features found in AI images and videos.
There’s also talk about the latest PC from HP made to look very different, arriving in a spill-resistant keyboard with an AI computer beneath. A hefty $3000 price tag may stop everyone from grabbing one, as will the fact that it was made with businesses in mind, rather than home users.
