Another week in tech as AI takes centre stage, or even the centre of what you wear, as AI glasses are in the news. What are they, and what do they promise? Plus what can they do?

While there are good reasons for the tech to be used, their ability to record without explicit consent raises serious privacy concerns.

Researchers are also using AI for another purpose, and it too can be a little difficult to think of. There is now a new model and tool that allows experts to create a bacteriophage which can be used to fight viruses, potentially saving lives. However, as with any powerful technology, there’s a risk of misuse.
