A Woolworths AI went slightly off the rails, and meanwhile other uses of AI might certainly alarm. What’s going on?
It’s next to impossible to go a week without talking about AI, or reading about it in the news, and this week, Woolworths had some troubles with its own take on the topic as it struggled with prices and referenced its mother.
Of course, an AI chatbot doesn’t have a mother, so it’s clearly a problem with the way it was built, but it’s not the only instance of AI being a little weird this week. What is happening?
